Cayman Brac Island Pictures

The last afternoon we had free I rented a car and we toured the island. Driving was different - I had to drive on the left side just like in England.

The island is about 12 miles long and 1 mile wide. There are only a few main roads, which span the island east to west. At the east end, the bluffs raise you up over the sea looking down over 140 feet.

In the bluffs are caves for hurricane shelter. We visited the Great Cave, which is near First Cay on the east end. In the middle of the island is a Parrot Preserve, which we did not visit due to lack of time.

Here I am in the drivers seat of my vehicle Signs are always telling you to drive on the left We had to stop and let some roosters cross the road
