Ka'anapali Shores

Our first week we stayed in West Maui at Ka'anapali Shores, a condo resort. This was a nice place, and I would recommend this to anyone who is planning on visiting Maui and wants to keep costs down. The Ka'anapali area is located north of Lahaina, which is one of the largest town on the island.

Since we had a kitchen, we were able to shop at a local grocery store and save on our food bill. The condo also had a living area, dining area as well as the usual bathroom and bedroom. From our lanai, we were able to see the ocean.

Ka'anapali Shores is located north of Ka'anapali in Honokowai. This area has some very nice beaches - most noteworthy is Ka'anapali Beach and Kahana Beach. Resorts line the shores here, and the swimming is especially nice.

The condo-resort has a Salon, general store, restaurant, pool, internet access, and other facilities that make it seem like it is a full-service resort.
