Mexico City Trips

I went to Mexico City in 2001 and 2002 on business, and here are some of the pictures from those two trips.

Mexico City has over 25 million people living in the city - one of the world's most populated. The city is at a pretty high elevation - over 7000 feet - and most of the city is surrounded by mountains and foothills. Because of the elevation, mountains and population, there is an extreme amount of smog and pollution in the city itself, giving some people health issues.

There is a lot of culture scattered everywhere in the city. Statues and monuments are mixed with building and housing. Outside the main city area are ruins of the Aztecs - none of which I was able to visit while I was there due to my extreme work schedule.
